The Neurodivergent Skill Building Program

A program uniquely designed with and for individuals with lived experiences

What We Are

THE NDSB PROGRAM CAME TO LIFE THROUGH...

The collaboration of individuals with lived experiences

The collaboration of individuals with lived experiences is a dynamic partnership where people who have personally faced and overcome challenges join forces to share their insights and lived experiences. This collaborative approach gave us real-world knowledge to make the program more inclusive and supportive of the neurodivergent community.

And a practitioner who was able to implement and facilitate the content and delivery

The essential role of a skilled practitioner who brings the program to life. This professional is not only knowledgeable but also adept at effectively delivering the program's content and ensuring participants receive the guidance and support they need.

Based on the fundamental 4 E's

Empathy is the cornerstone, emphasizing a deep understanding of participants' unique experiences and needs.

Evidence-based signifies that the program relies on proven strategies and practices, ensuring its effectiveness.

Empirical Driven indicates that the program's approach is rooted in real-world data and outcomes, making it practical and results-oriented.

Executive Functions represent the focus on building essential life skills that empower participants in their daily lives.

Together, these elements form the strong foundation upon which the NDSB Program is built, ensuring it provides meaningful and impactful support to neurodivergent individuals.

TESTIMONIALS

"One thing I like about the program, there’s a lot of hypersensitivity to context, you talk a lot about HOW, and WHERE you are in the process. For instance, your environment, building that hyper awareness, it’s something that is very nuance in your programming. Adult culture focuses on JUST DOING the THING, but in this program we focus on the WHY, when we aren’t doing it → It’s something I value a lot, the fact that you focus on the “WHY” and know that sometimes there are lots of obstacles that stop us from doing things not because we don't want to do it"

“I realized during body doubling that I was distracted from looking and checking my emails so instead I’m focusing on my “warm up” task of prepping my supplements“ Speaking on the benefits of "warm up" tasks during Body Doubling"

“Sara, you’d be so proud of me, yesterday I had things I needed to get done and I wrote out a master checklist and then sorted them into the 4 quadrants and realized so many things can be added to delete for today and scheduled and it literally felt like a weight lifted off of my shoulders and I got things done!“Speaking on the Eisenhower Matrix

"I really enjoyed the first NDSB session! I found the subject matter really interesting because I’ve done a ton of pd & personal development &
it’s information I’ve never gotten elsewhere. It felt so strange to be in a space that seemed catered to my way of operating. I was thinking that seems to be a part of neurodivergent ‘culture’ if there is such a thing: taking time at the beginning where everyone explains a bit about how they operate. I thought it was cool that everyone seemed to automatically provide that!

I also found elements of how you facilitated to be so ND-friendly (eg. Talking about the task we do as a ‘warm-up’ when it’s on our mind, even if it doesn’t seem relevant) & you talked about how people might be multi-tasking while listening. It felt magic to have a session facilitated in such a comfortable way for me (of course, it’s inclusivity, not magic, but it felt that way since it’s so rare!)"

I recently completed Sara's 12 week ND Program and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. As someone who was diagnosed with ADHD after my daughter, I was struggling mentally and was curious to know what it would be like to join a group with other neurodivergent individuals, since I had never heard of a program like this before.

To my surprise, I found myself looking forward to attending each session! Sara was able to break down activities and tools in a simple and easy-to-understand way, which helped me to understand my brain and habits better. I was able to gain a newfound appreciation for myself and made new friends along the way. The program's tools were specifically curated for neurodivergent brains and I found them incredibly helpful and more relatable.

If you ever feel like no one understands you, I highly recommend joining this program. Sara and Irina have created a wonderful, supportive, and safe space for individuals to be themselves and learn from each other. Thank you Sara and Irina for all that you do!
